My Story
Hello and welcome to Wild Forrest Media!
First, let me introduce myself. My name is Jessica, and I’ve been passionate about photography and videography for as long as I can remember—always “borrowing” cameras from my parents and grandparents to capture everything from the people around me to animals, pretty rocks, and the little unexpected moments that most people overlook.
Over time, that passion turned into professional opportunities. I began working with brands through product photography, including a cloth diaper company and a specialty hair accessory business. I also spent time focusing on portrait photography before life brought me from California to Houston, Texas, where I had the chance to rebuild and expand my skills.
After settling in Texas, I worked as a second shooter and assistant for a wedding photographer, where I gained deeper experience in both photography and editing. From there, I moved into band and concert photography and videography—something I truly love. There’s nothing quite like capturing the energy of a live performance, as well as the behind-the-scenes moments, practices, and promotional content that bring an artist’s story to life.
As my work with creatives and small businesses grew, I naturally expanded into website design. I saw firsthand how many talented people needed a strong online presence but didn’t know where to start—or felt overwhelmed by the process.
Now, I help bring brands to life not just through visuals, but through thoughtfully designed websites that are both functional and aligned with their identity.
My approach to web design is structured and collaborative. I start with a detailed intake process to understand your goals, style, and business needs. From there, I map out the site structure, plan content, and design a layout that feels intentional and easy for your audience to navigate. Every step—from planning documents and page outlines to the final build—is designed to keep things clear, organized, and stress-free.
